Got my first one of the season! Just thought ya'll might like to know... Watch my gopher count on the side bar and see how we do this year. I got 16 during the summer/fall of 2009. I'm setting it back to 1, and note to self, Feb. 21, season opens. Stay tuned...

You would think the word would get out in the gopher world to steer clear of your place. Happy Hunting
Oh, Chickie, they must be colonizing on your place! You'da thunk they'd all be caught by now! :) Glad it's you and not me! hehehe...
I'm thinking I need to start a mole count in my sidebar. Good work Vickie and may you be very successful...go get 'em girl!
Go for a record, dear lady!

Gopher season kick off party? you are a hoot Miz Vickie - best wishes in your endeavor - this farm ain't big enough for gophers and Vickie!
Should we bring pitchforks when we come? We could aerate your soil while eradicating any unsuspecting subterranean critters:)
Debbie
Obviously the gopher community doesn't have a good communication system because they'd have your place posted! You go girl. One down and ____ to go.
Back in Ohio, we had a rabbit problem. You would walk out to the garden and almost fall over the rabbits. Last year, we hadn't seen any. I said to George, hey we might get some green beans this year. Wouldn't you know, when we went out to plant the seeds there was a rabbit sitting on the tree stump like he was waiting for the beans to sprout!!!!
Happy hunting!!
Go get em'Vickie! I will be anxiously waiting for the gopher count each day! Reminds me of Elmer Fudd - good thing they're not wabbits!!
Happy Hunting!
You go, girl! I think that with your new lean, mean, no-nonsense approach (with all due respect to your sis), you're gonna break your record!
Too funny!
good luck with those gophers! my husband
and i used to have an inside gopher joke,
but for the life of me, i can't remember it.
sad, but true.
Hi Vickie,
As I live in Australia I have never seen anything so scarey!
Those teeth are huge! Do they bite?
Well I wish you luck with catching them.
Melissa
Oh my goodness! When we first moved out here, we had quite a few little ground squirrels, but I guess since we have so many cats and other predators, they have moved off to somewhere else. Hope you can get rid of your gophers! blessings,Kathleen
