Now, then, I'll do a few from our neighborhood at home... K?
Played with this last 'un a little bit. Enhanced the colors. The values were there but not quite that much color. So, there's my snow pictures. I took 124 but I thought I'd spare ya'll. You folks up north probably are tired of looking at this stuff. I'm tired of the cold, but it was nice to see this amount of snow. It'll be gone tomorrow as it's spose to get up in the midi-50's'... Ya'll take care now, ya hear?

Very pretty. I just posted ours too=) Mississippi hasn't seen this size snow since 1963.
Hi Vickie,
We had @ 8" here at our house! Dallas had 12". What the yankees, oops, my bad, I am one of them, lol! Anyway, the yankees won't know is: we don't have snow plows in our little towns, don't sell snow shovels at the hardware store but we do have a sense of humor! Warm hugs, Elaine from Canton
These are beautiful.
Here is Arkansas, we have more than our share of snow too. We are surviving but I am tired of snow.
Beautiful pictures! I posted snow pictures on my blog also. We were excited to get a couple inches here in south Arkansas.
You did get snow! Your pics are very good. Debbie
atleast in Texas if you don't like the weather.....wait a few a little while and it will change....ready for the snow to go
Your pics are beautiful. We got a flake or two, mostly rain down here in Houston.
I spent 37 winters in Ohio. We had lots of years like that. Don't miss it at all.
Have a wonderful weekend!!!
I am impressed with the last picture you "played with" - should save it for next year's Christmas card? I just trudged through the crusted over frozen white mess to get to chickens and goats - totally ready for spring and will be wonderful if this doesn't happen again for 30 years - I'll be in heaven and whoever is here - can live it up. I took a hundred or so pics - some were pretty bad 'cause I slip slid quite a bit! Thanks for sharing - it does look magical esp. the one by the pond/stock tank
Wow! You know what's funny - you have more snow in Texas than we have in Idaho!! How weird - I would be taking as many pictures as I could - for posterity! Mother Nature is certainly an unpredictable gal, isn't she?
Your photos are so pretty, nothing like fresh fallen snow on the trees, makes everything look so fresh and clean. But, I hope it melts soon and I hope the roads aren't slick.
Fluffy Blessings,
Barb
I saw in your comment to Vee that you aren't feeling too well. Get better soon!
Your snow pictures are great. The last one is awesome.
Snow is beautiful most of the time...and then there are those spots that the dogs have made yellow. Not so pretty. lol
Beautiful pictures. I really like that building you have. Was that at your property of did you move it there?
It's always good to document! Your pictures are very pretty and, as I told Dawn in Georgia, snow looks better on you! :D
There's got to be a Christmas card in there somewhere for 2010 at the very least. I really like your garden shed in the snow...so charming.
Wow, your pictures are gorgeous!!!
Christmas cards, post cards or framed for the wall......
BEAUTIFUL!!!
Hugs,
Dolores
Vickie, picture pretty! Hard on the legs and knees. Can you imagine the water once all of our snow begins to melt? Better enjoy it now, don't you think? Even in Ohio we do not normally see this much snow Owith more arriving tomorrow).
Have a blessed weekend!
I think it is beautiful..thanks for sharing it! I never get tired of it, we haven't had much this yer at all, so I have really enjoyed all the beauty here! H ave a good valentines day..come say hi when you can :D
So happy to meet you! Glad you found me so I could find you...lol
Love your farm house and land..You are going to so love living there in the future even though it is experience to downsize. I know I did it over three years ago and I am still trying to figure it out.
Love to know where you are in Texas I have a pretty good idea but could be wrong. If you don't want to say on here or my site just email me at grandmayellowhair@gmail.com...
I live out of Brenham in a little town of a little over 300 called Burton, Texas.
Love the farm life except in the winter and this ole house is tooooooo cold.
My son called me from Irving tonight they got 9 inches and he is not use to snow since he just moved there last year.
Can't wait to follow you and browsing your site
Take care
Maggie
I thought nothing could be more adorable than your little house until I saw your little house covered in snow. Just made my day.
1) That dude's boots in pic # 7 are totally totally cool.
2) Your last picture is amazing! It's always nice to bring back some of the true color via editing!
3) I also enjoyed the snow on your shed... looks so Christmas-y!
These pics are very good and you did get quite a bit of snow. Wow!
You left me a comment asking how I age some of my photos. I use the picnik.com website and I just use the free items and play around until I get the desired effect. A very easy website to use.
Chickie,
I love the yellow of the house against the snow. Gorgeous pictures! We just have a little left at the base of a big pine tree, and Mary's snowman is still standing but leaning. It was nice while it lasted, but I'm so glad it's gone.
Have a relaxing evening.
Beautiful pictures, Vickie! Although I've seen enough of the white stuff here... can you please show some of those summer pictures again now? *LOL*
Wow, what a beautiful collection of snow pictures. Everything looks so pretty all covered in snow.
