GRESHAM BARN SALE! It's time again - twice a year in April and again in October, there is the most fabulous little place to go for all things vintage, antique, quaint and desireable. You simply MUST go if your in the Tyler/East Texas area!!! Check out this link for pictures, details & location ---> http://greshambarnsale.blogspot.com/ !!!
I wish I had some pictures of my own to show you, but there are plenty on the Gresham Barn Sale blog. They have this huge old barn filled to overflowing just full of anything and everything! So full they had to start using a ginormous tent in addition to the barn to house everything! I've gone for a few years now - you'll love all the gals that are having the sale - to name a few - Jodi & her mom, Glo, and you probably know Margo from Margo's Junkin' Journal , contributor to Flea Market Style Magazine. There are others, too, and I'm sorry I don't know all their names as they have several different vendors at the sale. They scour the countryside unearthing treasures and junk from all kinds of places and gather it all together just for YOU!
If you visit Tyler this weekend, you'll be able to still catch the azaleas blooming. This is going to be the PEAK week for them. Altho the Azalea Trails are officially over, they bloomed late this year with the snow and cold we had. So, here's a doubly great reason to visit Tyler this coming weekend. Plus, all the garage sales, estate sales & yard sales are in full swing. You can't go wrong!
So if you're looking for that one of a kind item or just hoping to happen up on something new and fresh that you didn't even know that you wanted, the Gresham Barn Sale is the PLACE TO BE THIS WEEK! Proceeds from the Wednesday night preview sale go directly to the Rockin' C Ranch, a children's benefit.
See you there!

There is an annual barn sale I visit here. Georgia actually got some very unique furniture there for her family room.

Oh rats, I guess I'll have to miss it this time. Got a bad cold and a few hundred zillion onions to plant, but maybe next time. Hope you have a lovely time and come home with just the right thing.
Looks like a great place..I would love to go spend hours there! Hope all is well with your MIL. You have changed things here..looks good! Come say hi :D
If only I had frequent flier miles! Looks like such fun!
Perhaps one day...oh, hope that you get to go and that you do get some pictures. We need some sweet vintage finds, though I always check to see what Margo's been up to.
Looks like I'm gonna miss that fun deal. I think I'd surely find something I need amongst all that stuff! Oh well; maybe next year I'll make it down earlier:)

Looks fabulous! If it looks possible tomorrow, I might try to get there on Wednesday evening. I'll look at their site. Thanks for the heads up. Talk to you later.
Oh my, this looks like heaven on earth. I'd love to be there and cruise slowly up and down all the aisles looking at everything. I'd even settle for buying on-line.
Show us what you buy......
Hugs,
Dolores
You know, when I read the title I thought you were coming to the Pacific Northwest for a barn sale. There is a Gresham , Oregon and it is close enough by to make it worth going to the barn sale. DRATS! Can't make it to Texas right now, maybe another time~
I'd love to make it to Texas - my daughter is nearby in Louisiana! It would be so much fun to go to the barn sale and meet you (in person) and Margo, too! BTW, I had to giggle at the "beautiful babies" comment you left on my blog; spoken like a woman who is really looking forward to grandbabies!!! ; )
Hugs,
Sher
Have a wonderful time!! Wish I could be there to enjoy it with you - I love antiques and barn sales! Buy something fun and then show-and-tell!
Hugs,
Barb
P.S. Hope your MIL is doing better.
I love the look of this sale. I also picked up a copy of the Flea Market magazine after seeing here on your blog. Love it. Thanks for the comment about my Belle Meade trip. It is too bad that you will miss the wedding being held there. I agree that it is a really beautiful place. A great place to have a wedding! If you haven't been, I suggest going to the Carnton Plantation next to Nashville. Owned by the McGavock family and featured in the book, Widow of the South. Great book and a great place to visit.
Well, I'm bummed! I will be at Nascar.
You'll have to share all your great finds.
I'd be there, for sure, if I could! Sounds like a great place to find those things you need but never knew you did til you saw them! C
That was be fun to go to. We have nothing like it here. Have fun for me also!!!!
