Just an update. Mother in Law came through her surgery well and she's going to be in the hospital for 2-3 days. She is having some pain but they are trying to manage that with morphine. They'll be getting her up and about tomorrow I think. Now we'll have to regroup and make some new plans as to where she'll be staying. We should know more in a day or two I hope. Thank you so much for all your thoughts, prayers and well-wishes. It means so much to me (and my husband) - much more than you know!!!

Chickie, I understand all too well the uncertainties you face in the near future. Commit everything to prayer, because God is the only one who has a perfect plan for you and MIL. I'll be praying for you all. Talk to you later.

I'm grateful your family is close to the Lord - makes decision making a shared enterprise - will pray for your MIL now 'cause managing pain is a big part of good recovery.

I'm just now reading about your mother in law; I'm so so sorry!
What a blessing that you found her before she lay there too long.
The decisions to be made are so hard! All of you will be in my thoughts and prayers!

I'm so sorry to hear about your MIL. Happy that her surgery went well. I know the days ahead will be difficult for you as you make plans for where she'll be staying. I'll say a prayer for you for wisdom in finding the right place.
All you can do is take one moment, one hour, one day at a time. God will give you both the wisdom and grace for this trial. Blessings to you all.
Lots of prayers to you, your hubby, and your MIL.

Oh! Prayers for all of you.
Hello,
Saw that you had visited my blog Our Journey Through Alzheimers (through Delores' blog) and was happy to see you but sad that we have to meet because of such a sad illness. My prayers for you as you move through this journey with your mother in law.
