RAIN!

IT'S RAINING TODAY!!!

It's come a gully-washer!  A Frog-strangler!  The 8-10 inches that we were behind this year so far is ALL COMING DOWN TODAY!    My garden may float away, but I won't have to water for 3 hours this afternoon!  It's coming down so hard I cain't even see my car from my office!!!

Lotsa farmers 'round here needed it alot worse than me, but I'm so thankful!

Cain't nobody water a garden like the Lord!!!   THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU, Lord!

I'm so glad you got rain!! It's so funny that you called it a frog strangler, heheh, my husband has worked in Alabama and Tennessee, lots. He always calls a big downpour, a "frog strangler, must be something from the south - I love it!

We are being inundated with rain, to the point we are having flood warnings! Hope you get all you need :O)

Blessings,
Barb

It is always nice to get a break from the watering. We are having a gentle shower right now. We had plenty of notice so I planned indoor projects today.

Amen! Glad that you're glad to have rain after so long. Enjoy. I hope that it settles down to a gentle rain so that the ground may absorb it.

Nope, I'll pray that it becomes a gentle rain so that...

Glad to hear you are getting some rain - hope it isn't so hard as to float away the garden. I've heard from several people that their gardens have already dried up. (not where they can water them and have to depend on the natural stuff)
Have a great weekend.

Thats wonderful, Vickie!! I'm glad you all are getting some rain. I've been watching the weather closely today.... we were supposed to have some bad storms, but I think they've missed us.
*Thank Goodness*

Yay, rain, maybe it will drown out the gophers. I have been seeing evidence of busy moles again and fear we will be having to actively trap again, how goes it with the gophers of Sand Flat Farm?

So in Texas the rain washes away the gardens, in WA the non-stop rain rots the gardens, and then sometimes everything goes supremely right and God grants us a wonderful harvest!

Yay for the good Lord...he takes such good care of us! Hope your garden shoots up like crazy now. We have dry here too so every rain drop is so appreciated! Come say hi :D

Hoping we get a gully washer or two - too dry here already - clouds around teasing us but no drops yet - I love that praise song about Holy Spirit rain down rain down - wonderful image of blessings come down on us

Yes, we've had a gully-washer too this afternoon, and the bad part of it all, is that Country Music 'Fan Fair" week kicked off today, so everyone was soaked...
I hope your rain gets gentler...

We got a downpour today too! Did you see Deb's post today? She is a hoot.
I on the other hand didn't get to blog again today. My dad isn't doing well. Spent some time with him and my mom and sis. Please say a prayer for him.
Showed off my beautiful painting my special friend gave me! Everyone is so jealous.

We got buckets of rain, too! Reminds me of when we were kids, we called this kind of rain a "turd floater"; hope I don't offend anyone with that, but ya know, kids come up with some darn funny sayings!

I love the beautiful new header picture...the sky is gorgeous!
We had lots of rain yesterday, in fact, so much that the houses on the river were flooded....
Your so right about the Lord's watering is the best.
