Today among other things, I'm thankful for the successful surgery of my sweet kitty, Alice. She got spayed Monday, and came home yesterday. She's doing well. It's a little thing, but I get attached to my critters and worry about them. Alice has a place in the laundry room until she heals up, a litter box and a little comfy bed. She's enjoying being away from Jasper, too. Thanks for humoring me...

If you don't get attached, what's the point! We are so attached to our dog Beau it's nuts :D
I think animals bring joy and humor to our lives. They model love, they aren't judgmental. We should be more like our pets.

I'm glad your girl is fixed and doing well.
Our sweet Lily is at the Vet.., she got herself wedged between two Crape Myrtle limbs. As of now she's paralyzed in her back legs...I'm hoping and praying it's only temporary. I'd appreciate a little prayer for Lily.

It's amazing how fast cats rebound from surgery, but that first day is usually a little difficult! Maybe Jasper is up next for "fixing"--it sure calms them down!lol I have two female kitties, but am missing having a "tom" around. Have a great weekend!

I agree that we do become so attached to things furry little critters, but they do add something special to our lives.

sweet kitty - glad she won't be burdened with multiple litters of kitties (or the often violent attention of tom cats!) I love all my animals and appreciate others who care properly for their animals.
