I have a few pics I'll show you...
My niece Jaci, me, Hayley, mom, my sis Lisa, and niece Taylor...
My sister Lisa, Me, and Mom
My oldest, Adam, and Dan, my brother.
This is my brother, Dan! He drove down to Texas straight thru so he could be with us! I miss him so much!
Hayley and her Mema ...(My mom & dad always have invited Tony's folks over...)
Around the table, dad, mom, Lisa, Jaci, Tony, Adam (Taylor's boyfriend hiding), Taylor and her Dad & my BIL Wayne (Lisa's husband)
My Adam, Mema (Tony's mom), Tony and Hayley
Daddy attacking that Ham! He had already done the turkey by the time I got my camera out.
Hayley made the coconut pie this year - we burned one crust (cuz I wasn't watching it...) Grreat pie, honey!
Chickenfoot, anyone??? We had a tournament - I did win, once! That's all! And you see my glass of tea sitting there? Welp, I gave it a good wallop and sent it flying all over the table and my Mom! Now, we would have all reckoned that it'd be my sister that would do that, but this time, it was ME! Lisa, if you're reading, I love you, you graceful gazelle!!! tee-hee!
And lastly, but certainly not leastly - Josh and Bug.
We had so much fun! I can't wait for Christmas now - but I really think Thanksgiving and Christmas should be about 6 months apart so we can rest up in between holiday times!!! Hope YOURS was a great as mine! See you soon!
Keep your dress down!

Lovely photos! [But you didn't identify everyone. Yes I'm nosy. :-)]
Not to worry about not getting all Thanksgiving photos up sooner. 'Cause I have a couple to show, tomorrow. -chuckle- And you paved the way for me. Thank you M'am! :-)
[I never know how to spell M'am. Do you?]
Hi Vickie!
It looks like you and your family were having such a wonderful time! And you look great!
I have to say, I was just a little envious looking at the pictures - I loved it when we had Thanksgiving and Christmas at my mom's house. After my father passed away, almost 30 years ago, she moved around lots and finally re-married...it just was not the same. Now she is in a retirement center, and can hardly remember that it's winter - I know you know what I mean with your husbands mom - how is she by the way? I'm so glad that you are carrying on that tradition as long as you can... :0)
The food looked amazing! Do you mind if I ask what your menu was? It's fun to know how others celebrate!
Yes, we do have snow! We have over a foot up here in our little frozen tundra! My header was taken the first day it snowed, so not it's not too accurate!
Have a wonderful day!
Warm hugs,
Barb
So glad you had a terrific time! Don't the holidays pass way too quickly??
Jane
Don't be so hard on yourself! We all know you are blessed and that (most importantly) you know it, counting your blessings daily.
It looks like your family had a wonderful day. Maybe you should check on the tea stains on mom though! I love that one.
Vicki, You have a lovely family and it's wonderful they could all get together at your Mom's. We do the same thing for Christmas Eve which is always at Mom's, with everyone bringing dishes to pass so Mom doesn't have to do any of the cooking...of course, she does anyway., always makes Jesus' Birthday Cake. Thanks for sharing your family gathering with us.
BlessYourHeart
Wonderful to get to visit y'all on Thanksgiving - the blog post is like giving us a peek at a real Texas family giving thanks - I thank God for the years we got together when my parents were still here - it was the sweetest time.
Vickie, how wonderful to have the majority of your family gathered together for the holiday.... and what a fine looking family I might add. The coconut cream pie looks delicious! I agree, Thanksgiving and Christmas sould be spread out at least two months apart! As always thank you for the kind comments on my blog. Blessings to you, Julie of Dog trot Farm
Oh Vickie, I sooooo agree .... I wish Thanksgiving and Christmas wasn't so close together; I need a longer breather in between.
I love seeing your beautiful family together!! The food looks delicious!!!
You are blessed that your parents can still host a big family gathering, with some help...... grab and hang onto those good times! Good to see Mema there too!
Hugs,
Looks like you had such a great time. It is always nice to get family together.
I've so enjoyed all the family photos. How great was it that your brother was there! (I'm sorry that his mil is ill.) Don't worry about the list. It's not easy to post at this time of year. Your mom is a sweetie to want to host and to be able to. God bless her!
Hi Vickie!
Thanks for sharing! I'm just plain ol' country folk too, no wonder we get along so well! Your menu sounds delicious! I love the idea of macaroni and cheese casserole, my grands would love it! We don't like to do turkey for Christmas either. We are thinking about ribs or just a really nice roast with all the trimmings - I guess I have a few weeks to think about it! My daughter told me today that she just wants chocolate cake and vanilla ice cream for dessert - can't get anymore down home than that... :0)
Hugs,
Barb
