We don't have Chick-fil-A in the Northwest. But when I'm in TX I always eat there!

I agree. I guess freedom of speech only applies to the far left.

Will definitely be going today!

No, because we don't have a Chick-Fil-A...drat! I did hear that Wendy's is standing with them, though, and so am thinking of a one degree of separation thing. Did you have to wait long?

We have been twice and going again for dinner..the lines are incredible!!!!!!!!!!! Full families standing in line, some out in the heat...cars around the buildings...even at 2:30!!! I almost cried at the lines. We cheered the employees on to keep up the good work and hang in there.
What a joy and freedom to peacefully make a stand!!

I've been in my heart :)

There isn't a chick-fil-a any where near us.

Bravo! So refreshing that there are still people in this world that are standing up for family, and Christian values!

And of course.. freedom of speech!!

Smiles :)

I went to the one in Allen TX this afternoon around 5 to grab a milkshake and chicken. The store was crowded both inside and out! And it wasn't large groups either. Boy was that peach milkshake good - I don't get them very often so it has to be good for me to wait on such a stinking hot blistering afternoon. But support it, I will!

At this rate Chick-Fil-A might have to look into expanding to other states..but so they want the headache? I am so glad to see Christians and others who believe in free speech untie and support the restaurant. If there was one around here I'd be there !

Wendy's is going to support them, really? I hope so, and hey, we have Wendy's around here.

Looks like this little "reaction" by the far left backfired. ;) There was celebration all across the country!! My daughter used to work on their account at their ad agency. She still loves them and stays in touch. The Little Men were flag waving in VA at the "Moo". blessings ~ tanna

There was not one in the town that I had to be in yesterday but my MOther went to the one near us. Waycross, Georgia. She said it was unreal! She said the customers & staff were all so friendly and upbeat! There is no such thing as SAME SEX MARRIAGE...they can call it what the want..Marriage is between one man & one woman!! Praise The Good LORD for it!!!

Wasn't it awesome!! I nearly cried too. So very encouraging. LOOOOOOOOONG lines inside going out the doors and cars for ever in line at the drive through. Good for our hearts to see.

I saw this Blog Title on another blog I follow and had to visit. Honestly, I was expecting another bleeding heart story.
I don't like the food at Chik-fil-A but stand behind them 100%.

We visited Chick-Fil-A too. We made a point to do so on the way to our anniversary trip to the cabin and what a blessing it was! I posted about it on Thursday last week and took pics in there. It was awesome..so crowded. We walked away so full of hope and encouragement!

Thanks for joining Paula and me for the Sunporch chat, Vickie!

Blessings,
Tammy

Chick-Fil-A makes their position known and I respect it. Their dedication to even go so far as to shut down their business on Sunday, even though the restaurant has a drive-through and it's a weekend money-making day, they seem to be doing a bang-up job! Seems as if they are blessed and appreciated for the food they serve, the attention to service they provide and the overall sense of family they promote. I wish Christian-run businesses were all as brave and equally allowed to have representatives maintain their First Amendment rights as much as the next person screaming about their "rights" that become misconstrued as the right to override or stifle the next person's rights. I don't let anyone's sexual orientation draw me toward or deter me from using a good business that is thoughtful toward their customers. I don't have to always agree with the business owners philosophy toward life...to think they would have to ALL conform to my way of thinking would sure be selfish and dictorial in nature. What are the protestors really saying? That THEIR opinion is the only one that matters? It sure would be nice if they could respect the opinions of others as much as they expect the same.

Today seems like a good one for Chick-Fil-A.

we weren't able to go on that Wednesday but did go today and wow! the place was packed and the lines almost went out the door...hard to find a parking place. I guess all the publicity was a very good thing indeed and I am so happy to see people standing up for something so right.....
