I LOVE the east coast! I was born in Rhode Island, and spent all my summers there after my folks divorced. There is nothing quite like the smell of the ocean....
We also lived in Connecticut for 4 years in the 80's....and quite well remember the hurricane Gloria back then. We were without power for over a week.

There is something so deeply emotionally tugging about a lighthouse design. Love it!

Hi Vickie, I hope you had a most enjoyable trip, there is nothing like New England than in the Autumn. I curious to know if you traveled to Maine? Looking forward to your next post, Happy Halloween, Julie.

I want to see New England so much! My sister just returned from her trip to Boston and Maine and I am so jealous! Maybe next year! What were your favorite places?
