Sorry for the hiatus in my New England trip, but ....
WHAT'S UP WITH THIS???
Got a couple of girls that are moulting and everybody is off with the shorter days. This is egg is about an inch long and perfectly formed.
Guess I have a slacker in the group...
Now, back to our regularly scheduled program.

No, don't put her in the stew pot! She'll do better next time. ☺
-chuckle-
But wait! Perhaps she is flattened by the election! Perhaps she is just trying to get-her-act-together, like a lot of us are!
Agree with Vee. Give her time. Poor baby... :-))))))))
*BWAHAHAHA* Poor lil' gal! I've had days like that too... :)
Make sure they have plenty of oyster shell in their diet right now, Vickie.
Oh my!
Love your picture at the top of the blog. SO beautiful!!
we get eggs from friends with chickens, the eggs from the young hens are smaller but not as small your tiny one.
our friend sells me the tinier ones cheap as no one else wants them- they scramble just fine and I am thankful to get them.
hope your hens all settle down :)
have mercy on her!
This one would be easier to 'deliver'........good looking eggs, even the itty bitty one.
definitely a slacker day we all have 'em -
Bless her heart! She was just having a bad day!
Hi Vickie!
Poor little chicken - makes you wonder who she's been hangin' around with . . . ;0)
Hugs,
Barb
Do you have a young hen? Sometimes their first ones are small. Pullet eggs. Oh, this brings back memories of growing up.
Yes, we DO need to try to get together! ;) blessings ~ tanna
Too funny...we are getting eggs from a friend and so enjoying it. Benjamin had the chance of going and collecting them...look at Tanna and her expertise LOL...you East Texas girls!
Don't give up on the slacker I'm sure it was just a bad day.
