Princess Cooked Something!!! It's a Miracle!!!

We've been giving our college daughter grief over the years cuz I've tried to get her into the kitchen and learn some cookin'. She wanted no part of it - but now that she's a college gal, she suddenly wants to be Suzy Homemaker and learn to cook!

Wow - look what she did! Sauteed seasoned asparagus in olive oil, lemon pepper tilapia, ceasar salad! She even sent me this picture to prove it! I'm so proud of her! I think she did a wonderful job. And she prepared something healthy - what a smart girl. I just had to brag a little!!!!!

Looks like she did a great job!
Baby boy and his bride have been having 'Saturday kitchen dates' - cooking together and trying a new recipe every Saturday.

I love your "allow this country girl to be swept back into time and place where I was meant to be." I understand completely.

That sure looks yummy. I have just the opposite problem....I have two daughters that used to cook up a storm but now they are too busy to cook. :)

I don't blame you for wanting to brag! It looks delicious! This post made me smile, because my daughter was always the same. She told me once she moved away from home that she would use paper plates, plastic cups and utensils and use microwave dinners! She hasn't reaced the point of wanting to cook yet! But you have given me hope! blessings,Kathleen
