No snow

OK, Jim Cantore from the Weather Channel.  You promised us  snow - now where is it?  You promised this morning while I was getting ready for work. You warned us Texans that we were definitely going to have snow.

I looked out my office windows at 5 minute intervals all day. At noon, I see a little flurry of flakes, and then it's gone. Is that ALL we're going to get?  Now the sun is out. There better be some white stuff on the ground when I wake up in the morning or comes the WHOOP.  And I know where you work, Cantore.

Vickie, we had snow here in the Brazos Valley..probably more in Bryan/College Station than here in Caldwell.. it didn't stick but it was real pretty coming down. It's not near as bad as what I was expecting but it's still verrrryyy cold!

Cold and frosty is enough for me. The snow and ice can stay away.

You can ours when it comes. I will send it to Texas. I live in NE Washington state. Our high today was about 18. Snow tomorrow. Just a little today. Love your blog.

I HATE it when the weatherman predicts snow or rain and I look forward to it with great anticipation and then....zero! Of course that just re-affirms to me that man cannot predict and control at least the weather. There God alone is in glorious control! But I am still disappointed when the snow does not fall.

It landed here in Houston! I'll try to get a picture or two on the blog today.

I did see on the news where Houston got a slight dusting. It is funny to us to watch there world stop because of a little snow. It is so exciting when they are predicting it though, I do understand as I am the worlds worst. we were told some snow on Wednesday, maybe 4 in. We got a total of None. I was upset too. I am always threating to whoop our weather man too. We have another chance for this week, that big system that is coming in is maybe going to include Missouri. I sure need something to give me some Christmas spirit, I have no decorations up yet.

I Hope you get a beautiful Christmas Eve snow to fall softly around you as you enjoy the holiday.

Happy Holidays and a Merry Christmas.

Sorry you didn't get the snow you were promised. We have only had flurries so far this week, but it's been in the 'teens' at night and low 30's during the day. Too cold!
I remember some awful snow and ice storms in Dallas back in the 70's; I had to shovel the snow back to get into my little mustang and once our power lines were down for almost a week. Luckily the apartment had a gas stove and a wood-burning fireplace!Do you remember those storms?

Vickie, did you put the whoop on? :)

Goodness...I'll skip on the snow. We might get some later in the week.

I do love the clear and frosty mornings, 19 this AM. But I can do without anything slick. It makes my work treacherous. Ha!

We had snow one day this week - all melted off quickly (the only kind I like) - weatherpeople - what other job can you be wrong so many times and still keep your job? Go git'em gal!

Do you remember when the weatherman "promised" snow the next day and you did not study for the test, taking it on faith that there'd be no school? Very, very risky...C

Well Vickie, you know how Texas snow is....it snows a little, and then you blink your eyes and it's gone. We, I am afraid, got your snow....it fell, as you saw on my blog....and then, it was gone. {: But don't give up...the way the frigid air feels today...seems like the wind is whispering.....snow!!
