Let's Hear It For The GIRLS!!!

My daughter put the whoop on her brother and PopPop last Saturday.  My little tomboy all grown up into a girly-girl kicked butt on their fishin' trip.  Princess has been wantin' to go fishin' but has been away at school, so when she got home Thursday afternoon, she called my daddy to take her.  Her big brother also went. Princess hasn't been in awhile, but you flat couldn't tell.  Daddy and bro were cryin' when it was all over.  See what I mean ---

Just gonna show you pics - Daddy took them to a private lake up here - it was so beautiful. I've gone with him to this lake, too.

Look at this lunker!!!  She got several fish that would go 5-6 lbs or better!

Ok, son, it's about time - you gonna let your little baby sister make you look bad???
OK, son, she's several up on you now!  Here's another big 'un!
WHat's the count now???
I'd be ashamed if I were you, son!  I wouldn't let anybody take my picture with that lil ole minnow!
Ok, that's much better - are you sure that's not your sister's fish? Ok, it's yours. Good.

Good job, Daddy - don't let your little granddaughter show you up!
Twins!  Cool!
Way to go, Pop!
Look at that smile!!!  She had a wonderful time with her PopPop and her brother. 'Specially when she knew that she was the fisherwoman extraordinaire!!  She wants to give them another fishin' lesson when she gets back home again!  I'll bet she will, too!

Take care peeps - been busy - I'm visiting and maybe will get to catch up some this weekend. All my guys will be gone to Arkansas to trout fish on the White River for a few days so I'll have some time to myself. I'm looking forward to it!

Vickie, your daughter is a pro. She fishes like a champ and looks beautiful while she's doin it. I'm so proud of her! I'd fall over if I caught a bass that big. We caught salmon that big in Lake Superior, but never in East Texas. We used to go trout fishing on the White River! We stayed at Gaston's and had a great time. We didn't catch many fish but the cabins are nice and they have a great place to eat nearby called the Wagon Wheel. Homemade pie and such!
Oh, memories of the south. I told my husband we need to go back down thataway for lake vacation. Bull Shoals Lake-houseboats! I miss the south!

Hi Vickie!

It was so good to hear from you! I have been wondering how you are doing - and how your MIL is doing, I know you are busy, so thanks for stopping :O)

What a cutie - Don't you just love daughters who fish . . . and hunt, and can outdo the boys? She is adorable, and those Bass! They are huge - what a fun time! And, what a blessing to be able to fish with grandpa.

The lake is beautiful - I am so jealous of your blue sky - it is still winter in Idaho. Thanks for sharing - I soaked it all in . . . clear across all those miles!

Hugs,
Barb

Woo-hoo! That is so very fun!

Chelsea did that to Jonathan the last time they went fishing together. Nothing that big...just lots of them.

I love seeing siblings who enjoy spending time together.

Atta girl, princess! That's a Texas girl for ya! I don't do much fishing these days, but I do appreciate the catches she made. Wow! That pond has some good stock. No wonder they like to fish there! Good pictures, Chickie!
