Merry Christmas to All My Blog Buddies!!!

We'll be Christmasing for the next few days at least, but I wanted to check in and wish you all a wonderful season of home, family, friends, giving, peace, joy and love for the Savior as we remember His Holy Birth. God gave us the best gift of all - His precious Son, and this gift was totally free - just because of His great love while we were still sinners!  It's almost too much to comprehend!  Rejoice, Rejoice and praise His Holy Name!!!  Sending my love and best wishes to you all for a spectacular Christmas and a Happy New Year!

And Merry Christmas from Alice, the washing machine cat!!!
And it's a chilly 78 degrees here today!!!

PS - Edited to add - NOPE IT'S 81 DEGREES HERE!!!

A very Merry Texas style Christmas to you as well. Love the picture of Alice peeking out of the washer!!! That reminds me - my Mom used to make Texas Sheet Cake at Christmas! I've got to see if she still has the recipe! LOL

That is a cute photo! My cat, Stormy, loves to help me do laundry too. She's fascinated by the water filling the tub and I keep expecting her to jump in before I can shut the lid. Love your blog, even tho sometimes I don't always have time to comment. Merry Christmas! ~Cheryl

I hope Alice does not take a spin! I accidentally tumbled a cat in the dryer once. She used to hop in while I pulled out warm dry laundry. I always pulled her out and scolded her. She jumped in and I did not see her as I tossed wet laundry in with her, shut the door, and turned on the machine. There was the loudest, thump, bump, an yowl you have ever hear. I yanked open the door and she jumped out of the spitting and hissing and sat on top of the door for the rest of the day. Yes, a 24 pound cat who could scale a door two inches wide and perch herself on top for hours on end and slap you on the head as you walked by. Crazy!

Anyway, have a very Merry Christmas!

And Chickie, this is why we live in Texas!!! No snow (or at least not very much!) and cats in washing machines! Bella's been sacked out on the couch all day. I guess Millie wore her out! TTYL!

81 degrees?!? It is below 25 degrees here, but the fire in the wood stove is keeping us warm, as long as I remember to add more wood~

I do believe you're the winner in our friendly ground-varmint termination competition and I will be posting a picture of your prize very soon.

Happy New Year to you and yours as you bask in the warmth of your beloved Texas home.
